5 Killer Exercises For Flat Stomach

Imagine, "You are sitting in front of your crush, trying to impress her with your nice cheesy pick-up lines and suddenly, she notices an eye peeking out between the buttons of your shirt and she starts to make fun of you". 

Wouldn't it be an embarrassing and heartbreaking moment for you? I bet, it will be.

Come out from the imagination, it hasn't happened till yet. But before it actually happens, you need to do something about your big fat stomach.

In this article, I am going to share some of the most effective exercises for a flat stomach you can do at home.


Plank

Plank is considered as one of the best exercises for abdominal muscle. It strengthens the core and helps to improve the posture as it also works on the back muscle. You can do plank for the maximum possible time. Beginners can start with 30 seconds for one plank and increase the duration gradually.


Mountain Climber

Mountain climber is not only one of the best exercises for abdominal muscle but it also works great on different muscles including shoulder, chest and legs. It is both cardio and strength exercise. It is recommended to do mountain climber exercise for at least 60 seconds a day, you can increase the duration gradually.


Bicycle Crunch

Bicycle crunch is also a great exercise for abdominal muscle, especially the oblique. It helps in improving stability and flexibility. It works good on your glute muscle as well. You can do 3-4 sets of 15-20 reps per session.


Flutter Kicks

Flutter kicks are great exercise for strengthening the core and can be a good alternative (for abdominal muscle) to mountain climber. While performing this exercise, keep your back on the ground to avoid any injury. 


Russian Twists

Russian twists works great on the oblique, which means it can be very helpful to get rid of the love handles. It also helps to improve posture and balance. Do at least 3 sets of 25 reps in the beginning. You can try different variations and add weight as well.


There is no exercise that specifically burns the fat from the stomach, these exercises will strengthen the core and tone the stomach. 

Do full-body exercise rather than focusing on one muscle only and keep you diet in balance.
